Oxalic Acid Vaporizer for honey bee mite treatment. 3 prong grounded 115vac supply, copper cup (cucu) with 250Watt vap2.jpg vap3.jpg 924483A6-EB11-4B5F-950B-485ECD85CF44_1574272153730.jpeg 3ACE60AA-58F1-4A7B-A63B-EBD6F97BD58D_1574272057988.jpeg (2Amp)(380W available for $20 additional), and temperature controller with solid state output(SSR). SSR to allow higher amp output to heater with no mechanical contact wear. Vaporize at 230DEG C (450F) through a 1/4" hole in the back or reduced front entrance of a sealed hive. Small snout on front of cucu is inserted into the hive. At 230degC, acid in a silicon rubber stopper is dumped into and seals cucu. Acid (1/2 teasp) takes about 20 to 30 sec to be vaporized into the hive. Vaporizer is removed, stopper is removed, and hive kept button up for 10 minutes. As soon as the cucu is reheated(~30sec), the next hive is done and so on. Entrance sticks with 1/4" hole (1 per hive) 4 hives can be done in about 15 minutes. The initial cup heat up is about 6 minutes. With 3 Vaporizers, 12 timers and 12 sticks, can do 12 hives in about 30 minutes. The 380Watt heater will allow faster heat up and reach temperature at a cooler outside temperature. $150 for 250W, $170 for 380W and $25 shipping. Can be paid through my PayPal account.
