Getting ready to try out the new pollen trap, and not sure on a couple options.
I've read some beeks leave them on, others place them on only when they want to collect. Is it an issue to leave the trap on/off, so bees are used to the entrance? I will likely only collect once in a while, for home use, and to stock up for some pollen patties. So disengaging the trap is important. Hive is in the backyard, so I can collect daily.
If you leave the Sundance II on, how do you 'disengage' the collection? The instructions were useful, but I did not see mention of this.
