From one of my 5 hives I'm sure. 1 of the 5 is a swarm capture from 4/27. I figure if there's 2 queens in there they'll work it out.

So is it possible that 2 hives swarmed at the same time or that one hive threw out 2 at the same time? Or is this just one swarm?

I'd say its likely that there is a queen in the middle of each group of bees. So that would be two swarms.

If they both had a queen, yes

Well I guess I'll find out. I dropped the 2nd cluster on top of the inner cover and within 30 40 minutes the all crawled in.

only if the poor queen kills the best one.

if you really did not want 2 then if may be fine.

I may have let them both run, eval the queens pick the better off the poorer and combine.
always a chance they both are good and I have a couple 3 year old queens to be replaced.

it is all options, you took one, it should work out fine.

Yea I'm out of hardware or I would have hived them separately. Just a hobbiest that started with 2 hives and due to my excellent swarm management technique, now have 6.🐝

Small cluster on back leg of hive stand from yesterday's swarm capture. So I stuck a medium up to it with some lgo and set a stick from cluster to landing
