My mom and I were talking about beekeeping and the honey.
I have been trying to convince her that she should let me put a hive in her yard and the fact that the bees produce many things that are beneficial because they forage the plants in the neighborhood.
However her neighbor has about 4 Oleander plants and they are all blooming right now. I looked up Oleander at:

Oleander poisoning
Oleander poisoning occurs when someone sucks nectar from the flowers or chews leaves from the oleander or yellow oleander plant. Poisoning can also happen if you eat honey made by bees that used the oleander plant for nectar.
I suppose I should be checking what my plants and trees my bees are collecting nectar and pollen from just in case they are collecting from a poisonous plant near by. How often is this an issue for people who live in the city and may not know what all the plants are the bees are collecting from?
