not sure what is going on

Hi there
I was checking out my hives and noticed some things that were unexpected and am hoping for any input.

My hives are from 2 nucs, and have been going strong. Added on a medium honey super after two deeps were full and looking good.
The medium has the bees making columnar projections that are contiguous with the opposite frames in places. These have honey on one half of the frame and brood on the other half of the same side. The brood are quite bulbous, like drone brood. I split the frames to break the connection and spun them around so it faces another frame. The brood chamber below has good looking brood.

Is there something I should be doing? I did not break down all of my boxes and look in the lower one. Should I bee trying a queen excluder?

thx

That is bridged drone comb, Scrape it off and place the frame adjacent to drawn good comb.
thx
i was thinking about doing it but the brood made me second guess that urge.
