We have lots of bees in one hive, but had a re queening mishap, so they've been without a queen for several weeks. If we requeen, and she begins laying, will there be bees in the correct stage to nurse and feed the larvae? They seem to be foraging but are pretty aimless right now.

More than likely a laying worker(s) will develop and they will kill a reintroduced queen you would be better off adding a frame of open brood and let them raise a queen you may have to add a frame a week for up to three weeks. There are many posts on here about it.

The hatching brood will also help build the colony.
