So I'm stumped. I just got four new packages two weeks ago. Put them in their boxes and now am inspecting for the first time. Three hives are doing just fine. The one, though, has both double eggs (two eggs in a cell) and single eggs. All the eggs (no matter whether doubles or singles) are at the bottom of the cells, just like they should be. I can understand all single eggs, or all double eggs, but what's going on that I've got a combination of both in a new package?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Brion
