Thomassen, here. I am a new beekeeper in Oakland, CA. My mentor beekeeper and I set up a top bar hive in my backyard in early April. Our design includes an observation window. Becoming a 'junior' beekeeper has been a fun and satisfying experience. I am looking forward to learning more from the folks on this site.
