I'm new to Beesource and beekeeping so please accept my thanks for the advice. My question is about Brushy Mountain top feeders. I installed my first ever packages yesterday. I am using all mediums. When I opened the top to check syrup levels today, they had consumed about a half gallon each but, I noticed approximately 10-15 drowned bees in each feeder. Is this normal or should I be doing something different than just filling the feeder. I made sure the floats were moving free when I installed and today when I checked.

You will always have some casualties - this is normal.
Thanks, I guess I'm a little nervous about the little things on this latest adventure.
