Hi,
My name is Pam Allen and I am planning to start a vertical farm in the Portland OR area. I am not a fan of bees personally but recently I have been paying attention to the news stories around their struggle for survival and I am starting to get interested in them.

I would probably never be a keeper myself but I do know that the vertical farm will need to include them and would like to research here to find out what we will need to do so they can thrive.

Thanks for allowing me to come with questions, and thanks for all the work you all do to keep bees alive so that we can all live on this planet and eat. You are appreciated!!

Pam

The answer depends on whether you want just 1 hive for pollination or if you want to become a beekeeper. If you can find a friend or member of your community to help, that would be the best option.
