I am a new suburban beekeeper in Rochester MN. I took Mary and Gary's course at U of Mn, and hived my first 3# package of carniolan bees on Saturday. So far so good. It seems like they are enjoying the warm spring in MN, and the neighbors are more excited than I am. I have been surprised by my teenage daughter, too - she is always asking to help out. Thrilled to join this great community!

That's me! (I was the complete novice (and still am.)) How are you? Are you the guy with the orchids, or the guy from the western side of the cities? (If I remember correctly.) Keeping lots of bees?

I'm on the western side of the cities. I'm picking up two packages from natures nectar next week, I'm trying not to overthink it. :)
