My first hive died from varoa mites and i have taken five frames of honey out and froze them and I am going to pick up a new package tomorrow... My plan was to start them out in one hive body with the five frames of honey and five of foundation, and as then add a second hive body when they have started to fill out draw out the foundation. Am i on the right track here? Should i use the frames of foundation from the first hive? thanks again..

Yup, that's a good plan. Once the bees die during cold weather, so do the mites. So your frames should be fine if it was mites that killed the first hive.
