So long story short had 2 hives last year and lost them (one to queen issues, one absconded). Last year’s comb and stores look good to use for my new nucs we installed yesterday.

Question: Do I still feed with sugar syrup if they have frames of honey in there? I am feeding pollen patty.

As always— thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Cured stores are always better than sugar syrup. If you got them, give them out! Monitor your hives for stores. The nectar flow should be on soon and if you are not building an entire hive's worth of comb from scratch, a lot of extra feeding should be unnecessary. But observe your bees and let them tell you if they need extra stores or not.
