Hello! I am a newb from central Michigan. I have enrolled in a beekeeping class that starts soon, and I'm already pretty deeply engaged in absorbing as much knowledge as I can.

I am happy to have found this forum, and hope to "e-meet" many fine folks who can help to educate and mentor me virtually.

Hey Rob,

Check out Kamon Reynolds, Bob Binnie, and The University of Guelph on Youtube

All are fantastic resources for information on beekeeping at all levels. The above listed beekeepers have been a tremendous help to me from day one.

You will find no shortage of beekeeping videos from other keepers on youtube. However, I have found these to be the most helpful as they are heavy on the information, and light on the "fluff" that bogs down too many videos on Youtube.

Start watching, reading, and learning. Good luck!

Welcome to Bee Source. Sounds like you're on your way. Maybe the bee club can provide a mentor to shorten the learning curve.
