I'm a beginning beekeeper from Winkler, Manitoba in Canada, though I'm originally from South Africa. Just got started with 2 4 frame nucs (though by the time I collected them the seller increased it to 6 frames
) and 2 established hives I got due to a beekeeper in the area being on the wrong side of the city zoning and the accompanying bylaws. I'm trying to go foundationless with some mixed results. I'd also like to populate three more empty hives I have from one of my established hives using secession, but I'm terrified of damaging my queen, so I'll wait a bit. Looking to network with other beekeepers for good advice and hoping there are some beekeepers on here from the area I could get in touch with.
