Hi, Dave and Vishala, new to this site, and new to the Bee Life. So excited to have found it. Wondering if there is anyone else trying to do TF Beekeeping in NW Washington. We would love to chat with you. We have 1 top bar hive and 1 Longstraff. The Topbar swarmed twice so we now have 4 hives. Crazy for the first 12 weeks of Bees. But we are loving it. Had a bear pass through this morning.... the adventure continues.

Welcome. I suggest you change your profile to identify your location. Pay attention to locations; beekeeping is all about locality, geography, elevation, and it is seasonal.

Welcome to Beesource, Vishala.

Beekeeping certainly is an adventure, and no two days in the bee yard are the same.

I would encourage you to visit the Treatment-Free sub-forum here on Beesource where you can read all about the good, bad and ugly of TF beekeeping.

Welcome aboard, and best of success to you with your growing apiary!

Russ
