My husband recently put out some "Snake Away" in our garden, because he doesn't like garder snakes around. (We have a few in our backyard.)

However, after applying the Snake Away, there is a strong Napthalene smell permeating the area. This garden is about 20 feet from the hive.

Will this effect my bees?

Thanks in advance.

I dont know about the smell, but I do know that garder snakes are harmless and help keep mice away from your hives.

You don't have to tell me. :) I don't have a problem with the snakes at all, and as far as I'm concerned they are good rodent control. The snakes just scurry away and do not bother me a bit. "Oh well..."
