That stuff runs me out of the room when my wife is using it. I'd look elsewhere for a low fume solution. I use the sharpie oil-based markers. The Posca water-based markers are good too, but don't hold up as well as oil. Mr. Palmer uses testors model paint with good success.
I've tried it. Most is translucent and hard to see. The fumes are bad, and if you're not careful and if the queen doesn't pass out, you might... get some tester's enamel pens at the hardware store...
I have pens, I still find them a bit rough if my tremors are bad. Rather poke her with a brush if I can. Some drones may pay the price of my curiosity. Maybe and old nail polish brush and paint.
