My daughter and I checked our two walkaway splits we started April 3rd. We saw one of the queens and lots of eggs and larva in the one hive, and didn't see the queen in the other but saw eggs and larva in it. My daughter can identify the eggs now too! this from the girl who when we started by watching in a full suit from 20 feet away. She now pulls frames and can identify what all we are looking for. I really appreciate everyone's advice, stories, and tips. The feeling of accomplishment of them raising their own queens is awesome. Thank you from this 2nd year beek! Hoss

Very good! Now do another split to make 3 hives. Good for over wintering and honey crop the next season.
