I lost all my bees last November to a bear and her cub and am just getting restarted after 18 years. I have my charger/energizer unit but haven't set it up yet.

Folks mention "baiting" -- what does that mean? Also, if there's a "best way" to do the set-up, what is the best way to "wire" the bee yard?

By baiting I believe they mean putting tasty morsels such as meat on the fence itself to attract the bear's sensitive mouth to the shock.
