This kind of goes along with my other post. The split that I was gonna let raise their own queen had a real nice looking queen cell with in 24hours to say I was excited would be an understatement. I did not know they could make one that quick. I have had drones now for a few weeks now. The president of our bee club lives about 1mile away so there should be some drones around for her to mate with. I will let you'll know how it turns out. These splits I made are my very first ones so it is very exciting.
