Hi. I have a situation. My wife thought initially she wanted a hive on the back porch. That worked for about a week. I had to the hive about 200 yards away but the next day plenty of bees returned to the original hive location. How do I get these girls to not come back to the original location? Is there a way to reset them?

Yes, when you get them moved, preferably at dusk when they are all inside the hive, put something in front of the entrance. A branch, grass, something to force them to come out and reorient themselves in the morning. That should reset their homing device so they return to the new location.
