32 and snowing in MN. Went out to flip the entrance reducer over and put on the mouse guard. Thought I'd take a stick and sweep the bottom board for dead bees or mice. I felt a lot of resistance with the stick and thought a lot of junk on the bottom board.Well it wasn't dead bees,it was live bees. They poured out the full opening and covered the front of the bottom box. They were angry so I walked away. With cold temps they should go back in.Will check later and put the entrance reducer in. Apparently the cluster is right down on the bottom board. Live and learn. Any thoughts? Thanks, KAD

Snowing heavy. Everybody back in. Put entrance reducer back in. They were right there to protect their stores.

I wouldn't bother to clean the BB until the next time it warms up. Then smoke them to get any out of the way. J
