[Deer Slayer]

Today I pulled the outer cover to remove the empty quart jar of syrup and found three moths in the area between the outer and inner cover. They could not get into the hive becasue the screen on the feeder prevents this. The moths were small and gray. This is my strong hive. Should I worry?

you know I had the same thing in a nuc a couple of weeks ago. I freaked when I saw them,had a wax moth problem last year that wiped out a hive,but havent seen anything. I dont know but maybe something with sugar. Keep us informed Peace Dave

Keep th hive strong in numbers. When they get weak the moth will enter into the hive and lay her eggs.
