moths in swarm traps

Is there any secret way to keep moths out of swarm traps? I set out a swarm trap this year, and never caught any. I then used the drawn out comb to do a split, and later killed a wax moth on one of frames. One frame I noticed wax moth larvae emerging from, so I immediately put it in the freezer. It wouldn't help to put the frames in the freezer before they hatch would it?

Freezing the combs may kill wax moth eggs and larva that are present, but during warm weather the moths lay more eggs fairly quickly.

I recommend treating the combs with B-401.

I sprayed my combs with this and not a single wax moth.
