I have noticed that the splits thay were made up in late May are slow building up. When I checked this week they have honey but almost no pollen and there is none comming in.

I made up some Megabee yesterday and put small amount out to keep hive beetle problems down. I mixed 2# megabee, 4 1/2 cups 2 to 1 syrup and 2 Tbls canola oil.

I thought my arm would break off by the time I got it well mixed and smooth. How do yall mix substitute, especially larger batches of 5 to 10 lbs?
I have seen on really large batches where they used cement mixer but don't plan to get that big yet.

Another question. Do yall make into patties with wax paper on each side or just spoon it onto the top bars? I tried some both ways yesterday.

I do it both ways. In the early spring I just spoon it onto wax paper at the hive. With what I have left over I make 1 pound patties fully wraped and keep in the freezer.
