I did a sticky board check for varroa mites and after 3 days had 47 mites. So I am going to treat with Mite Away QS. It is too hot now but I have a temperature window starting Saturday so that is when I am going to install the strips. This is the first mite treatment for this colony and I started the colony in March.

My question..... I also want to do a hive inspection. Is it too disruptive to do an inspection during the same entry when the MAQS are being installed? My option would be to do the inspection a day or two before I put the strips in.
