I found the recipe for grease patties with wintergreen oil, and one of the ingredients is mineral salt. What the heck is mineral salt? I looked it up on the internet, and there were several kinds of mineral salts listed. What do yall put in your grease patties? Thanks.

You can buy it at a feed mill or farm supply. It is a pinkish crystal. Costs pennies per pound. I think I got a 5# sack for about $0.28.

There are different formulas of mineral salt available at feed stores/feed mills. Make sure you read the ingredient list before feeding it to your bees.

That's what I am wondering about. According to what I read, there are numerous types. That is why I posed the question here.
