The thing about having a "Meat out day" or even regular "meatless Mondays" as I've read about, is that it's not unusual for my family to go meatless far more than that. More often than not, we have pasta once a week. Some nights no one feels like cooking so it's just a baked potato, or grilled cheese,. Last night (St Patrick's Day) we had my wife's awesome potato soup. My daughter likes making vegetable soup in the crockpot. Even when we have meat, it's usually not huge portions, just something added to a rice dish, or cassarole of some kind, perhaps a few pepperoni's on a pizza.
Aside from the boxes of insects in the yard, I thought we were a fairly typical family. Do the rest of you eat meat 7 days week?
