Get the coffeepot going...we've got a new meteor shower early Saturday morning. It is expected to be a fairly decent one. North America is supposed to in a good position to view it, weather permitting...the east should be good, and California, not so sure how the middle of the country will see it, though, as a weather system may interfere... http://www.beeweather.com/outlook_1day.php . The meteors will radiate from an area close to Polaris, the north star.

Normally for meteor showers we are socked in down here due to our humidity. Hopefully the fog won't roll in to heavily during that time. Maybe you'll get a break in the clouds about that time... Ed

Not worth the loss of sleep down here....12:50 thru 2:30 local and only saw a very few.

The DC area was clear but the sky was so washed out I just got the vague impression of a few. Had I been at our WV location it might have been a show.
