The photo on the left (or top) is from Dadant's website, the other is from Betterbee. I think I would spend the additional $0.50 to receive the factory-packaged product.




Pollen intake looks like it has really dropped off. Is it a good idea to give nucs some patties at this time?

Looks like betterbee has hired Tony Montana to do their packaging.

... And is anyone presently giving patties to boost new nucs/colonies?

I give patties all summer, my bees will take them, some faster than others. Put new ones on yesterday, did some checkering today and a couple of hives are going to town on them!
