Checked the hives today, knock on wood, they are doing well. In fact, one of them could be described as booming. We put a super on it today just to give them a little wiggle room till it is warm enough to do a split. We went into the winter with two deeps chock full of honey. There is still a surprising amount in the top, probably 7 racks full on both sides.

Notice the six or so bright orange empty cells center right. Is that multiple eggs in them?

The bright orange cells in the last couple of pictures just look like pollen stores to me. The close-up of the white one almost looks like dead larvae that hasn't been removed. Not sure why it would be in the area of all that honey though. Could be some type of white pollen.

Great pictures by the way!
