Is Mann lake woodenware good? I was talking to a friend today and he said that the wood is harder than dadant's. What is y'alls experience with mann lake wooden ware?
I have only had one bad experience with mann lake woodenware. My last deep frames that I bought from them were supposed to be the good stuff. The frames were made out of wood so soft it seemed to be balsa wood, and the notches for the frames to go together didn't fit together, I had to use my dremel to get them to go together.
I have over 1000 of there wooden frames with plasticell in service with no problems. I have in transit to me another 500.
Excellent quality and durability.
