Live in Red Bluff and travel around county seeing many almond orchards. Have noticed that prior to predicted rain, several of the orchards were spraying for rust prevention…which is either done with sulfur or Maneb via helicopter. Has to be direct application to the bees as this done on +60F degree day and trees approaching full bloom. Any experience with bee loses or observations. I'm only hobby bee keeper but am interested in all aspects of bee keeping. Steve

the one grower i talked to said he would use his fogger and wouldn't start until dark when all the bees were in. not real comforting but something.
