Hi all, I have an old honey pump i picked up used and its working fine. However i did see the lovely brand new shiny ones from the online bee supply places for $850 + tax and decided to take a look at what the components would cost to change out on my old pump.

To replace the rotary gear pump with dayton model 4khh6 and to change out the belt drive motor dayton model 6k778bg turns out to be around half the retail cost.
The gear pump you can get online ranging from 200 for refurbished to 400 brand new. ( average prices look to be in the mid 300s) and the belt drive motor is $71-91 depending on what retailer site you buy it from.

Just a FYI from my mornings internet searching.

I may change out the old parts on my pump at some point with these.
