Hello! I am new to beekeeping and have been chacking 3 or 4 frames on my hive weekly. Is that suitable? I have 1 medium and 1 deep 10-frame. Because all of the frames were new and only had foundation, should I check on them less often as to not interupt them? The bees originated from a nuc in the middle of May.

Thanks!

This is my second year. I went through most of the frames until they started putting up significant amounts of honey. I found the education and experience worth the effort. It is very interesting to me how each hive has it's own personality, or way of doing things.

I check 2-3 frames per box, paying special attention to the ones that look a little different from up top. Admittedly, I spend more time in the hives than most, but I have learned so much just observing.
