Looking for a natural harmless treatment for the outside of my new cypress hives.

Wondering about linseed oil, tung oil, ?

Any ideas?

Raw linseed oil is slow drying
Boiled Linseed oil has drying agents added so that ir cures faster than the raw type.
Tung oil will be expensiv
Dipping in melted paraffin can also give you a nice finish
