Leveling Hives with Shims

I was thinking about this for a bit and came up with scraps of vinyl siding. They are easy to cut. I wanted something that was thin enough to not go over what I needed using a couple pieces, and wouldn't rot any time soon. It worked great. Hope this helps someone.

I use the precut shims they sell to plum assembled door units. A package is not that much at the builder supply houses and it saves me having to cut them in my junked up shop. For the stands that are in need of large blocks I use scraps of treated lumber left over from building stands.
I use sticks and rocks or clumps of dirt. Close counts.

Me too! Works perfect, and those shims have many other uses, too.
