I am intrested in chatting with anybody whom may have some experience , with lazutin style hives, specifically multiple chambers, I have 1 insulated lazutin with 2 28inch long chambers, bees love them , so any body with experience?

so 2 seperate 28 inch chambers in one hive?

should work fine, what frame size?
You may find it to be small and need to do splits or pull honey mid season, depending on the Queen.

were you thinking of splitting the 28 inch into 2 14 inch?


one thing different they can brood up sooner than non insulated hives so be sure to monitor spring stores so they do not run out of stores in early April for example.

I am curious about the exact configuration. Are the chambers next to each other, one after the other, side by side, on top of each other???

I would say that I am using Lazutin style hives, but I don't remember hearing about these chambers from his book?
