This has not happened to me, but I am just curious - if you accidentally introduced a frame containing laying workers into a previously queenless colony that was drawing queen cells or had capped queen cells, what would happen? Do the pheremones produced by the laying workers cause the bees to tear down the QCs? Same question, but what if an unmated queen was present.

Laying worker colonies usually attempt to raise a new queen. Queen cups in supercedure location with multiple eggs is a positive diagnosis of LW. We always give LW mating nucs a rip cell and the virgin is usually accepted and we can harvest a mated queen. So, I don't see an issue
