Greetings everyone! My wife and I have a small solitary bee house that we've had great success with the past couple of years. Both Leafcutter bees and Mason bees are regularly using the nesting holes. This year, however, I've noticed a number of large flies hatching out from some of the cavities. They're about 1/2" long and seem to emerge as a mobile pupa that they then hatch out of, leaving the pupa skin behind like a Cicada. Please see the attached pic of two of them clinging to the front of our nest box.

I've searched the forum trying to ID these little buggers without luck. Does anyone know what we're dealing with here? We're in Phoenix, AZ by the way. Thanks in advance for your help.
