Read it in a local paper out of Shelbyville, TN. Didn't mention the name of the company but said that the AHB issues was the decision to move further north.

Anyone know which outfit?

Did it say where they were coming from? And when the relocation would be complete?

Could it be Dan Purvis of Purvis Brothers?

The following is a direct quote from Purvis Brothers web site. So, it appears it is Purvis Brothers.
We have been called to our new home in middle Tennessee near Lawrenceburg. We will still be keeping Goldline bees but on a much smaller scale and conducting practical beekeeping research and breeding on the side.

Thanks Fred. Have never done any business with Purvis or their Goldline bees.

Looks like they want to basically get out of the business as they are willing to sell the Goldline along with all of their business inventory and property. Though it did say an agreement would have to be reached so that they could still sell and improve the traits of this bee.

BTW, how are the new packages from John doing now that the nectar flow is on?
