Does anyone have instructions and/or plans for adding a window(s) to a Langstroth? It sounds like there is a ton of success with people using foundationless and frameless bars in Langstroth hives- I am going to give it a try and would like to have an observation window. No fair that the Warre and TBH peeps get all the fun!

How big are the windows? about 6 x 12 And how did you install them? I made the box 1/8 wider for the 1/8" plastic. Are the on the wide or short side of the hive? both but it take way some stranght on the boxes so I only do it on brood boxes.

cut a hole in side of box size and shape you want save the slug from hole to make door. then

I cut the plexi to fit in side drill hole in plexi for screws. I use 1/2" screw with a flat head then put hinges on and bam your done. so simple really
