Last month I made up a nuc from an existing colony. The new queen appears healthy and now 4 of the 5 frames are filled with eggs and brood.

If I want to keep this as a 5-frame nuc, is it as simple as removing frames of capped brood, brushing off the bees and replacing it with an empty frame?

Take the bees with the frame and add it to a hive that needs a boost. Make sure not to move queen.

If you intend to over winter them, add another nuc box on top so they can put away honey for winter.
