Ok i got 2 packages of bees arrive on the 28th of last month. They were saskatraz. I installed them the same day. Yesterday was the first time i opened the hive up. I looked and looked but could not find the queen. I did find a small patch of wet brood with some capped. I also found 5 to 10 queen cells 3 were capped. The open ones had larvae in them. I ordered a new queen. Id hate to destroy the QCs. Would it be ok if i took 1 frame with queen cells and bees and pit in a nuc and let the queens emerge? Just thinking of my options rite now.
