So when you do this - you want to lay an old sheet, preferrably light, just under.
If a queen falls - you will be able so see her OR you will see bees clustering around her.
Had she fallen fallen down in your case, it'd be some mess digging around the grass and trash trying to figure out why bees are not staying put.

Surely your wife will donate some old sheet she does not need.
Or buy a cheap tarp, preferably NOT dark green or camo.

Yea Greg probaly shoulda put one in my arsenal but sometimes gotta go in a hurry/ this time due to a T storm that was impending lol I did find her in grass luckily
