I looked at a cabover Isuzu a few weeks ago, looked like a pretty nice truck. Good mileage, had the 16 foot flatbed on it. There are a bunch of lawn guys here in FL running the Isuzu's and they seem to like them.
I don't know about Isuzu, but we run Mitsubishi FMSP 33k GVW with 20' flat beds. Trucks get excellent fuel mileage, rarely breakdown. A bit light on Horsepower if you pull a forklift but still well within usability. And you can't beat the cabover turning radius for driving down orchard rows.
