upon inspection late last week when we had a hot dry day I found both my hives heavy ,strong with bee,s very active ,putting up honey but no brood or eggs that I could see. Last inspection and all spring they had lots of brood and larva in many stage's .I did not look for queens but found it strange both hives were doing the same . Any thoughts ?

Are your brood boxes packed out with honey? If so, you need to get some empty frames in there so the queen has a place to lay. Otherwise, SWARM TIME!

There is room in the lower deep lots of empty comb the uppers are filling and I have a empty supper on top . Could I already have had a swarm ? Will they replace the queen first ?
