I will try this again reworded. I have an option to buy 30 complete empty hives with 2 brood boxes, medium and all frames.

The price is great but I wonder if it may be a problem with mites or some kind of disease that may be inside. Is there something that can be done to the frames to clense them?

Any help will be great.

The boxes are a no brainer. The comb...well it's hard to say without seeing it. Sometimes it can be good to use and other times it's not worth the frame they are in. Hard to say. If the hives all died from foulbrood I wouldn't use them. If the old owner says the bees swarmed, starved or died over the winter then they are probably good to use. Good luck. Hope it really is a "good deal" for you.

The two big worries I would have are foulbrood and what he used to treat for mites. I would not worry about anything other than the comb.
