I went thru my hive on Aug 5th and found a capped queen cell, should i let it be? There are larva at various stages. The queen was purchased and installed on 5-22-14. I thought she was doing well but what do I know.

It's perfect timing.
There's a lot of ifs in that statement! The brood break is great, but if you have problems with SHB or low population or the new queen doesn't make it back it won't be. Add a frame of brood would help if you're talking about a new first year hive or nuc. I have had problems with new mail order queens being slow to start laying or being rejected so sometimes it's a good thing to let them do it.

What I know is usually less than the bees know. At least after the bees have known her for more than a couple of weeks.
A cell, likely superceder.
